Right-click on the programme, head to properties and select the compatibility tab, where you will have the option to select an earlier version of Windows, tweak colour modes and more.
It’s not a fix-all, and won’t solve all potential issues, but it’s a useful tool for those with treasured old programmes or apps that they want to use on Windows 11.
