This Popular Password Manager Is Getting Smarter With Location-Based Suggestions

Summary
Password management app 1Password has added a new feature that makes it possible to assign a location to an item stored in the app’s virtual vault.
This means users can store physical items such as Wi-Fi passwords for venues they frequent, or information relevant to a particular location such as a parking permit for an office, alongside usernames and passwords for online services.
The new feature is designed to make such data easily locatable from within the 1Password smartphone app when the user is at the relevant location.
To use the feature, which is currently only available on the iOS version of the app, users need to add a “Nearby” section to the home screen of their iPhone or iPad.
