Plex Is Raising Its Lifetime Pass Price—but You Can Get It Cheap if You Move Fast

News has emerged that Plex is to increase the prices of its monthly, annual and lifetime plans from $4.99 t o$ 6.99, $39.99 t o$ 69.99 and $119.99 t o$ 249.99 respectively, after more than a decade of not raising its prices.
The platform is also introducing a new Remote Watch Pass, designed for individual users and costing $1.99 p er m o n t h or$ 19.99 annually, allowing users to stream content from their Plex library to personal remote devices.
At the same time, Plex is removing its mobile unlock fee, which previously required users to pay a one-time fee to access any video content playback.
This means that from April 29, 2025, users will need to have a Remote Watch Pass or a Plex Pass to enable remote Plex playback.
