Everyone Will Soon Be Able to Use Google Search's Worst Experiment Yet

Summary
Google is to expand access to its AI search mode in the US, according to Robby Stein, VP of Product for Google Search.
This will enable all Google account holders to use the mode, irrespective of whether they pay for the company’s $20 monthly Google One AI Premium subscription.
Google’s AI mode is essentially a competitor to ChatGPT, and acts as an extension of the company’s AI Overviews, providing search information in response to queries.
This AI capability includes follow-up questions and suggestions to explore topics, doing away with the need to visit multiple websites for information.
The mode is currently only available in the US and those who want to try it can join the waitlist via the Google Labs.
