Microsoft Wants to Give You Free AI Training (So It Can Set a World Record)

From 8 April to 28 May 2025, Microsoft will host a 50-day AI festival featuring a range of events, training sessions and hackathons to introduce or advance people’s knowledge of AI and its uses.
Content will be suitable for all levels of expertise, and is available in over 30 languages, with in-person training also offered.
Advanced attendees can apply to enter the AI Agent Hackathon, whilst those new to the field can enter introductory classes on AI, machine learning and natural language processing.
Microsoft is also offering free certification throughout the festival, with weekly draws for 50,000 free vouchers to complete coursesvalid for the duration of the festival, with non-winning entries rolled over to subsequent draws.
The festival will also see Microsoft attempt to break a Guinness World Record for most users to complete an online multi-level AI lesson in a 24-hour period.
