Windows 11 has come a long way since its 2021 launch and is now a much more polished operating system, according to an article in MakeUseOf, a consumer tech website.
It suggests that, with Microsoft set to end support for Windows 10 in October 2025, now is the time to switch to Windows 11.
Advantages of the new OS include a revamped user interface with tabs in the File Explorer app; enhanced integration with iPhones, including the ability to make and take calls; and integration of AI features such as an image generator in Paint and an AI assistant.
Additionally, Windows 11 has caught up with Windows 10 in terms of popular functions, with users now able to move the Start button to the left-hand side and drop files onto the Taskbar.
The only downside is that Windows 11 may not be as familiar to longtime Windows users, but the author argues that it shouldn’t take long to adjust.
