Google Wallet Is Finally Getting One of Apple Wallet's Best Features

Summary
NFC card enrolment could soon be available on Google Wallet, based on a teardown of the latest Google Play Services beta version.
Currently, adding a new card to Google Wallet requires either scanning the card with the phone’s camera or manually entering the card details, which is time-consuming and inconvenient.
The addition of NFC card enrolment would enable users to simply hold their bank card up to the back of their phone in order for the details to be automatically populated and added to their Wallet account, making the process much quicker and easier.
The new feature is likely to be available for EMV-compliant cards, including Visa, Mastercard and Europay.
The NFC enrolment feature is already active in the beta version, suggesting that it could be officially rolled out shortly.
