Summary
If you have used Alexa even moderately, Amazon has collected a large amount of data on you, and it is a good idea to delete some of it in the name of privacy
You can reduce your digital footprint by limiting the data Amazon has on you, but first you must know what data Alexa stores on you and how to delete it
You can delete your voice recordings on the Alexa app or website by going to More > Alexa Privacy and tapping Review Voice History to review and manage your voice recordings
You can do the same for your smart home device history on the app or website by going to More > Alexa Privacy and tapping Review Smart Home Device History, then Manage my smart home device history, and finally tap One-time deletion of history to wipe everything
You can disable all Alexa skills on the app by going to More > Skill & Games, scrolling down to Your Skills, and tapping it, then selecting each skill, tapping Settings, and tapping Disable Skill
Lastly, you can deregister your Alexa devices on the app by tapping Devices, clicking on each one, tapping the Settings cog, scrolling down to the bottom until you see Registered To, and tapping Deregister
