Spotify’s AI DJ Now Takes Song Requests So You’re Not Stuck With Its Weird Picks
1 min read
Summary
Streaming service Spotify has added a tool that allows users to interact with its AI DJ chatbot while using the service.
The new feature enables users to make requests to the chatbot, which will factor in the user’s listening history, music preferences and other data to curate a session in real time.
Requests can be as specific as requesting a mood or genre, or as general as asking for music suitable for a particular activity.
To use the feature, users need only access the Search tab, find the DJ playlist, and interact with a button in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
The new feature is only available to premium subscribers in 60 countries, and orders can only be made in English.
