Apple Maps' New Expert Ratings Make It Easier to Find the Best Places to Eat

Summary
Apple has partnered with Michelin Guide, The Infatuation, and Golf Digest to help Apple Maps users more easily find top restaurants, hotels and golf courses.
Using search filters, the software will now be able to locate Michelin-starred restaurants and those awarded a Michelin Key for hotels.
Golfers will also be able to find the best courses, and even book tee times directly through Apple Maps.
While these expert guides are only rolling out in the US at present, Apple has said that support for additional regions is “coming in the future”.
The collaboration shows Apple recognising the value of expert insights, perhaps surprisingly, given the initial launch and subsequent ongoing comparisons with Google Maps’ failing.
However, Apple Maps has improved greatly in recent years and the addition of these expert guides, as well as offerings like Look Around, will continue to change public perception.
