Summary
November has arrived with plenty of early Black Friday deals in tow, including this offer that slashes a straight 39% off the Bose QuietComfort (2nd Gen). These midrange headphones boast an ultra-comfortable build with solid noise cancellation, multiple listening modes, and a bass-forward sound profile straight out of the box. With the $359 price tag, the cans were in a bit of an awkward position at launch, but thanks to this early Black Friday discount, grabbing a pair of the QuietComfort 2 headphones has become a much more compelling prospect.

As noted in our 7.5/10-star review, the new Bose QuietComfort 2 headphones are an approachable (if somewhat familiar) pair of wireless headphones that provide a premium listening experience for a midrange price. The cans boast a new-and-improved design with an ultra-comfortable fit, lossless audio support, and multiple listening modes. You also get up to 24 hours of battery life on a single charge (up to 18 hours when using Immersion mode), plus spatial audio support, customizable EQ settings, and a foldable design for easy transport. The wireless headphones even come with a protective carrying case, which is a nice bonus. Some folks may not like the physical buttons along the side of the headphones, but for someone who doesn’t always enjoy the finicky nature of gesture controls, they’re a refreshing sight. Bose QuietComfort 2: the price is (finally) right The Bose QuietComfort (2nd Gen) headphones were unveiled in August with a $359 price tag, which made them difficult to wholeheartedly recommend at launch. Thanks to this discount, however, the headphones feel like they’re exactly where they’re meant to be. After all, the ANC (active noise cancellation) here isn’t quite as powerful as what you’d get from the Sony WH-1000XM6 or Bose’s own QuietComfort Ultra 2, for example. Battery life is only mediocre as well, and some users may miss the inclusion of a 3.5mm audio jack. Needless to say, if you want a lightweight pair of noise-cancelling headphones that are comfortable enough to wear all day, the Bose QuietComfort 2 are a great choice. Will the price drop even further when the Black Friday sales officially kick off later this month? It’s tough to say, but with deals like this already available, I wouldn’t wait to find out.
