A lot of attention is being given to Apple’s potential launch of the next iPhone SE, with speculation centred on 19 February 2025.
The device is expected to be a significant upgrade on the previous model, which has retained the old iPhone 8 design.
It is predicted to have a modern design with flat edges, an edge-to-edge display and no physical home button, but keep the single camera of the old model.
Whether it will have a notch for the front camera or the Dynamic Island is yet to be confirmed.
It is expected to have Apple’s AI support and AI features, as well as better cameras, with the potential for a 48MP sensor and 2x optical zoom.
The transition to USB-C and MagSafe is also anticipated, and it is likely that Apple’s new 5G modem will be included.
This would be a significant step up from Apple’s current entry-level phone offering.
