An audio seminar from MIT Technology Review discusses the rise of chatbots and the implications for society and human interaction.
The seminar features three speakers, all journalists from the Technology Review, who address the positives and negatives of the growing prevalence of chatbots.
They examine the various ways in which chatbots are already transforming human behaviour, from selfie apps which adjust your facial expressions to the softening of the news curation process.
They also ask whether chatbots should be regulated and what measures could be put in place to control them.
There is also a written summary of the main arguments, but the podcast itself is only available to alumni of MIT and subscribers.
