The Chinese company told The Verge that China’s Trump tariffs were an influencing factor in the price changes, but did not detail other factors.
Meanwhile, its products are still hard to find in US stores.
The Verge’s Sean Hollister, who uses an Osmo Pocket 3 to film TikTok videos, noted that Amazon is currently charging $725 to ship a Creator Combo set to the US from Germany, with the tax to cover the tariff included.
However, Hollister said this was still a tough ask compared to the $979 official US price.
