The Gigabyte Aorus Master 16 is a 16-inch gaming laptop with a bright OLED display, intense CPU and GPU performance, and an attractive price, but it’s let down by a plastic build, meager battery life, and distracting fan noise.
It comes with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5080 graphics and a 24-core Intel Core i9 processor, 32GB of RAM, and 1TB of SSD storage.
By contrast, laptops like the Razer Blade 16 and Asus ROG Strix Scar 16, which are pricier and not as powerful, have quieter fans that are easier to ignore when playing games.
The Aorus Master is somewhat customizable, with RAM and storage that a user can replace, but the laptop comes with some annoying software, a mediocre webcam, and subpar built-in microphones.
Its ports and ergonomic keyboard and trackpad are some of its best features.
