Sennheiser’s new affordable open earbuds are less affordable in the US

Summary
Audio equipment manufacturer Sennheiser has introduced its first open earbud design, the Accentum Open, as part of its mission to create “competition that truly benefits the consumer”.
The earbuds will cost USD129.95 in the US, CAD149.95 in Canada and EUR89.90 in Europe, although they are not yet available in the UK.
The product’s design is similar to Apple’s AirPods, which sit at the entry-level of the company’s earbuds range.
Unlike Sennheiser’s other earbuds, the Accentum True Wireless, which cost USD200, the Open variant does not block the ear canal, meaning that users can still hear sounds from their surroundings.
