The elephant in the room for ByteDance employees at this week’s town hall was the fate of TikTok in the US.
Following a letter to Apple and Google from Florida Attorney General, Pam Bondi, the app was returned to their US app stores, though the store said it is still awaiting further discussions with TikTok which will “provide additional assurances”.
