Google might replace the ‘I’m Feeling Lucky’ button with AI Mode

Some users of Google Search are seeing the platform’s AI Mode search engine chatbot in action, suggesting different places for its placement, according to reports and screenshots.
The mode, which offers search-focused chatbot-like responses, is being tested in place of ‘I’m Feeling Lucky’, a button that takes users straight to the top of the search queries.
Even though it is only available in Labs at present, offering the feature in place of the longstanding ‘I’m Feeling Lucky’ button suggests Google believes AI Mode is more efficient.
This is just one of many experiments, according to a Google spokesperson, who said: “We often test different ways for people to access our helpful features.”
It is not certain that any of these placements are definite, or if AI Mode will even be more widely released.
