Google has revealed its new AI assistant ‘Gemini’, built specifically for compatible smartwatches, cars, Google TV, and Android XR headsets.
The AI will provide personalised recommendations for each user, such as retrieving age-appropriate movie recommendations for children on Google TV, or finding a charging station en route to another location.
It will offer hands-free, voice-operated assistance whilst driving for safer interactions.
It will launch on Google’s Wear OS in the coming months whilst the Android Auto and built-in Google car features will arrive in the coming months and years.
It will be available on the first Android XR headset from Samsung, later in 2023.
Google has not yet specified when each individual feature will be available.
