Google has launched a developer-focussed event called The Android Show to give users an early taster of what to expect from its forthcoming I/O event.
The show revealed that Android’s design language, known as Material 3 Expressive, will be rolling out across its devices following a beta launch this month.
The company also outlined plans to improve the functionality of its Find My Device feature, which is being renamed to Find Hub and will gain support for ultra-wideband (UWB) connectivity, as well as a range of Disney-themed tracker tags in the form of Baby Yoda.
Google also used The Android Show to reveal that its new Gemini AI will be rolled out to Google TV devices, cars with Android Auto, Wear OS devices, and Android XR headsets.
