PC gaming hardware firm Wooting is set to launch an upgraded version of its 60HE keyboard at the end of this year with a new design and additional features.
The 60HE was the first keyboard to include Hall effect switches and Rapid Trigger system, both of which improve key activation speed.
The new 60HE v2 will include true 8K polling as well as a low input latency of 0.125ms, shaving vital milliseconds off the activation time.
It also comes with a new Lekker Tikken switch that has a closed bottom and a 4mm activation range, as well as an aluminium case, a choice of silicone or EPDM foam blocks for acoustics, and the option of a split spacebar.
The firm has not yet announced the pricing or release date for the 60HE v2.
