  • PC gaming hardware firm Wooting is set to launch an upgraded version of its 60HE keyboard at the end of this year with a new design and additional features.
  • The 60HE was the first keyboard to include Hall effect switches and Rapid Trigger system, both of which improve key activation speed.
  • The new 60HE v2 will include true 8K polling as well as a low input latency of 0.125ms, shaving vital milliseconds off the activation time.
  • It also comes with a new Lekker Tikken switch that has a closed bottom and a 4mm activation range, as well as an aluminium case, a choice of silicone or EPDM foam blocks for acoustics, and the option of a split spacebar.
  • The firm has not yet announced the pricing or release date for the 60HE v2.
