Ahead of its annual developer conference, Google revealed its new Material Three Expressive design UI, which will be Android’s biggest visual update so far.
However, rather than making Android the star of the show, the new design has taken a back seat with AI taking the headlining slot.
Google is expected to expand on its AI tool Gemini, and how it will be brought to more consumer-facing products.
The tendency in recent years at Google has been to bring out AI features fast, albeit with the odd promise that has not yet come to fruition.
This lends itself to the overall trend of companies constantly talking up their AI products, to the point where the promises are becoming worn.
However, Google has managed to bring out a large amount of AI features to date, across many of its products.
