The Vision Pro NBA app turns some games into a miniature 3D diorama

Summary
The NBA has added a new augmented reality (AR) feature to its Vision Pro app, called Tabletop, which allows subscribers to watch or listen to live games through the app and get a virtual rendering of the game on a virtual court in their space at the same time.
Users can see digital avatars of the actual players moving and acting in the virtual space in sync with the live audio or visual feed.
The feature is only available with an NBA League Pass for live games that are both local and available to stream, and not for out-of-market games.
Players are represented by avatars, either as robots or in a cell-shaded cartoon style, and users can differentiate between players by their colours and names and numbers on their jerseys.
The NBA hasn’t yet said whether the feature will be available for this weekend’s All-Star games.
