YouTube TV has confirmed it will continue to host channels including CBS, CBS Sports, and Nickelodeon and streaming services such as Paramount Plus, Showtime and BET Plus after reaching a new deal with Paramount.
YouTube had previously stated that it may lose the content, and offered subscribers an $8 credit if this occurred.
Its subsequent update stated that talks with Paramount had been extended and the content would continue to be available on YouTube TV.
However, the company has not yet revealed any further details about its new contract, or whether it will result in a fee increase for subscribers, stating only that it will communicate any future changes ahead of them taking place.
YouTube TV increased its subscription fee by 10amonthto82.99 in December 2022, in line with rivals including Hulu Plus Live TV and Fubo.
