Nintendo has announced its Nintendo Switch 2 console will be launching in 2025, with a Mario Kart game amongst the new titles available.
Although sales for the original Switch tablet, the company’s top-selling console to date, have slowed due to limited availability of key titles, the COVID pandemic, and supply chain issues, 2022 set a new yearly high in Switch sales.
Following the Wii U’s lacklustre performance, the Switch’seasy handheld-home console compatibility and the 2019 blockbuster releases of *The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Super Mario Bros.
Wonder have set the Switch 2 up for success.
However, Nintendo has yet to announce further details, with an April 2nd directed focused on new Switch 2 games the only calendar mention.
