Nothing’s new video pits the Phone 3A’s camera against the iPhone 16 Pro Max

Nothing, the new smartphone company founded by former OnePlus co-founder, Carl Pei, has released a YouTube video comparing the camera on its forthcoming Phone 3A to that of the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The video shows the Phone 3A’s 50MP periscope camera, which features a 3X optical zoom and up to 60x “ultra zoom”, with a 70mm focal length.
In contrast, the iPhone 16 Pro Max’s tetraprism camera offers a 5X optical zoom and a 120mm focal length, while its 25x digital zoom is matched by the Phone 3A.
The two phones’ depth of field when taking photos of graffiti, food and buildings is also compared.
Nothing has recently posted teasers and information about the Phone 3A, and is set to unveil the phone on 4 March.
