During its annual World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) keynote, Apple unveiled a range of updates related to AI and virtual reality across its product portfolio, according to a report in TechCrunch.
Among the updates are new versions of its operating systems for iPhones, iPads, Macs, AirPods, and its vision Pro product, with the version numbers now aligned to the year of release.
Highlights include a Liquid Glass design theme which adds transparency to buttons, switches, and text; a new wrist flick gesture to dismiss notifications; an AI-powered workout buddy, and AI-powered live translation across Messages, FaceTime, and the Phone apps.
It has also added a feature to its iOS 26 that allows users to call upon its AI assistant by using the same buttons one would use to take a screenshot.
The company has also announced that it will let third-party app developers access the on-device large language model used by Apple Intelligence, according to a separate report in The Verge.
