Summary
Smartphone manufacturer Oppo has launched its slimmest foldable phone to date, the Find N5, which is due to go on sale on 28 February in Singapore, with releases later in Europe and Asia.
The phone is priced at 2,499SingaporeDollars(1867 USD), which places it at a premium price level, but comparable to rivals Samsung and Google once storage capacities are taken into account.
The Find N5 is slimmer than all of its rivals, however, when folded closed, it is thicker than the Huawei Mate XT.
The device is rated at IPX6, IPX8 and IPX9, meaning it is moisture-resistant, but not fully waterproof.
It houses a 5,600 mAh battery, a 7-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Camera brands Hassleblad partnered with Oppo on the phone’s 50MP main and telephoto lenses alongside a 12MP ultrawide lens.
