Grok, the new artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot, has taken the chatbot arena by storm, topping the leaderboard and even overtaking ChatGPT in the Apple app store chart.
However, despite having the top model, Grok still has a long way to go to catch up with OpenAI’s ChatGPT, which this week reported it had 400 million users, a 33% rise on December.
OpenAI has yet to release any desktop or voice activated apps, like those that Grok is reported to be working on, but it does appear to be focusing on another growth area, gaming, with an AI gaming studio in the works.
Meanwhile, Meta appears to be going through some difficult times, with stock refresh awards being cut by 10% and executive bonuses being increased by up to 200%.
Several high profile leaders are also reported to be leaving, including heads of music at TikTok and Pinterest.
