Summary
Music streaming platform Spotify is finally set to launch its HiFi feature, originally scheduled for rollout in 2021 having been announced that year, according to an article in the Verge.
However, the company is yet to confirm a date and there may be additional hurdles to overcome first as it doesn’t yet have the rights from all the major music companies to launch the feature.
Now it looks like Spotify is rebooting the service as part of a new Music Pro package, including added features beyond audio quality such as early-access tickets and potential tools for DJ remixing.
The package will add $5-6 onto the cost of the standard Premium subscription.
