Samsung reveals Galaxy A56 with more AI and a modest spec bump

Premium capabilities previously reserved for Samsung’s more expensive Galaxy S range will be rolled out to its cheaper A series phones from this month.
New features will include an improved object removal tool, photo filters, and its AI tool, Best Face, which enables users to change expressions in group photos.
Samsung has also upgraded the A56, A36 and A26 devices with a 6.7-inch full HD Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate, its latest multi-camera system, and its latest Exynos processor.
The A56 will be priced at 499intheUS,theA36willcost399 and the A26 will cost $299.
Samsung has also increased the length of time it will offer software support for the new phones, from three to up to six years.
It is also introducing IP67 dust and water resistance for the first time on the A26.
