Nothing, the “light” smartphone brand from OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei, has launched its third handset, the Nothing Phone (1), which features a unique retro design with a see-through back.
The phone is covered in LEDs which can be customised to display various colours.
It has been launched alongside the Ear (1) earbuds and the company’s first laptop, the Nothing Book.
The Phone (1) has a 6.6-inch OLED screen and will be available in two models, one with a 1080p display and the other with a more advanced 144Hz panel.
It is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and has a 50-megapixel main rear camera alongside a 50MP ultra-wide snapper and a depth sensor.
The phone runs on a custom version of Android 13 and will receive two major software upgrades.
Nothing has focused on eco-friendly packaging for the Phone (1), which comes in a compostable box made from mushrooms.
