Summary
Microsoft is rolling out an updated native version of its Copilot app for Windows.
It is built using native XAML, includes a new side panel and improved UI.
The design is now consistent with the Copilot app for macOS.
Copilot was originally launched as a ‘personal assistant’ integrated into Windows 11, but Microsoft removed this integration in favour of a basic web app.
This new app is being rolled out through the Microsoft Store to all Windows Insiders first, with a wider release expected in the next few weeks.
