Apple announces MacBook Air with M4 chip and a price cut

Apple has updated its MacBook Air, adding an M4 processor, a new sky blue colour option, and a lower price, with the 13-inch model starting at $999 an d t h e 15 - in c hm o d e l b e g innin g a t$ 1,199.
Both the 13- and 15-inch models will come with the newer M4 chips, supporting two external displays with the lid open.
The entry-level model features an M4 chip with a 10-core CPU and 8-core GPU, 16GB of unified memory, and 256GB of storage, with the option to boost the GPU to match the base 14-inch MacBook Pro, 32GB of RAM and 2TB of storage.
While the upgrades are not considered significant, the price drop is notable, given increasing tariffs.
