Big Tech is now slightly less silent on Trump’s tariffs

Summary
Reactions from North American and Chinese tech businesses to the introduction of tariffs by the Trump administration have so far been minimal, despite fears that tech products such as laptops could become more expensive.
Walmart has pledged to keep prices as low as possible for customers, while Best Buy and Target have already started to hike prices in their stores.
Several smartphone manufacturers have also said they will likely have to raise prices for products sold in the US.
However, some companies, including camera maker Canon and drone manufacturer DJI, are still assessing the impact of the tariffs and plan to issue further statements at a later date.
Meanwhile, the Trump administration is said to be considering a one-month reprieve on tariffs on goods imported from Canada and Mexico.
