Apple has 90 days to allow app sideloading in Brazil

Summary
Brazilian judge Rafael Olaro has ruled that Apple must make it possible to sideload apps onto iOS devices within 90 days, a measure already in place in the EU due to the Digital Markets Act.
The injunction was initially imposed in November last year, but was overturned in December.
The ruling states that Apple has complied with similar obligations in other countries and hasn’t demonstrated “significant impact or irreparable harm” to its business model.
The case was brought by Brazilian e-commerce giant Mercado Livre.
Apple is said to be planning to appeal the ruling.
