Android phones will soon support Auracast, a feature allowing one broadcaster to connect to unlimited Bluetooth LE devices.
This will enable users to directly connect their hearing aids to audio streams in airports and concert venues, for example.
At present, Samsung Galaxy phones running One UI 7 and Google Pixel phones with the Android 16 beta will support Auracast.
It is also rumoured that Google will add audio sharing capabilities in Android 16, suggesting the update will include further enhancements to audio connectivity.
Android 16 is also progressing towards full launch, having reached platform stability.
