Google is bringing a lot more Android games to PCs

Summary
Google is set to make a significant number of Android games available on its Google Play Games for PC platform by making it the default, unless a developer specifically opts out.
This will vastly increase the number of games on the platform, as previously developers had to opt in to the service, which was launched in beta in 2022 to allow Android games to be played on PCs.
As part of the same announcement, Google is introducing a “playability badge” to highlight how well mobile games will run on the platform, with an “optimized” badge indicating it meets Google’s “quality standards” and a “playable” badge for games that meet minimum requirements.
Google is also investing in more PC games on the platform, with over 50 native titles already available and plans to allow all developers to migrate their native PC games over this year.
Google plans to make Google Play Games on PC widely available and will partner with PC OEMs to offer the service on new devices from this year.
