The Google graveyard: all the products Google has shut down

Summary
From Google Assistant on mobile devices, to Google Chat, to even features in Google Search, the company is constantly experimenting — and ceaselessly shutting down those experiments which fail to produce tangible results or gain sufficient usage traction.
This week, Google confirmed it was ending one such feature experiment, allowing users to attach colorful notes to search results.
On the product side, the company is also shutting down its super-affordable Chromecast streaming stick, its Google Stack scanning app, and its VPN by Google One service, among other things.
This comes in the same week that Google announced it was laying off around a thousand employees, some of whom the company said helped create Google Assistant.
