Summary
Microsoft has acknowledged that its Copilot app for Windows 11 is being uninstalled on some devices after the release of the Patch Tuesday updates on 11 March.
In a support document, the company says it is working on a fix.
In the meantime, users can reinstall the app and manually pin it to the taskbar.
The issue comes as Microsoft rolls out a native version of the app, which has an improved UI and a press-to-talk feature for its AI assistant.
The company is also developing new Copilot features, which it plans to unveil at a 50th-anniversary event in April.
Microsoft is rumoured to be developing its own in-house AI reasoning models to compete with OpenAI.
