Summary
- HP is introducing its new lightweight gaming laptop, the Omen 16 Slim, which it claims is its thinnest gaming laptop to date, at just 20mm thin.
- Aimed at the midrange market, the laptop will have a 16-inch 2560 x 1600 IPS display with a 240Hz refresh rate, and an Nvidia RTX 5070 GPU.
- The laptop will start with an Intel Core Ultra 5 225H CPU, and 512GB of storage, along with 16GB of RAM.
- HP has not yet announced pricing, but the laptop is expected to launch in June.
- Also in the Omen range, HP is soon to release refreshed versions of the Omen 17, Omen Transcend 14, and HP Victus 15.
- All will be configurable with an RTX 5070, but the Transcend 14 gets Intel Arrow Lake, whilst the Omen 17 opts for AMD Strix Point.
- The Victus 15 will offer a wide range of configurations, and perhaps an RTX 5050 or 5060.
