Canvas creates a workspace where coding and documents can be created and refined in real-time with the help of the AI offering constructive suggestions for tone and format
The Audio Overview feature turns written materials into a podcast-style conversation between two AI personalities, something the company previously trialled in its NotebookLM tool.

This latest round of launches is the latest in a series of innovations from Google in this space, with competitors like OpenAI and Anthropic having similar functions within their tools.
