  • Nvidia has unveiled its new RTX Pro Blackwell series, designed for professional users such as designers, developers and data scientists.
  • The series includes the RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell, which has double the memory of the RTX 5090 and a similar design.
  • It requires 600 watts of power, versus the 575 watts of the RTX 5090, and has 24,064 CUDA cores and a 512-bit memory bus.
  • The GPU will be available from partners including Dell, HP and Lenovo from May, while a data centre variant will be available from providers including Cisco and Supermicro “soon” and cloud providers such as Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure and AWS will offer it later in the year.
  • Nvidia has also launched the RTX Pro 5000, 4000, 4500 and laptop variants in the Blackwell series.
