Newsletter platform Ghost has integrated with the fediverse, meaning its bloggers can post to platforms that support the open ActivityPub protocol, including Mastodon, Pixelfed and Threads.
The connectivity has been introduced ahead of schedule – it was due in 2024 – and is currently in beta for Ghost(Pro) users.
In addition to Ghost letting its users publish content directly to the fediverse, another feature provides an ‘Inbox’ that aggregates content from WordPress and various compatible social media and blogs according to a user’s preferences.
However, there are still a few wrinkles to iron out as Meta’s Threads service does not allow Ghost users to interact with Threads users.
