Summary
Consumer electronics giant Samsung has begun taking reservations for its new range of gaming monitors, including the flagship Odyssey 3D monitor.
The monitor can covert content into 3D using a lenticular lens, although this does not work with DRM-protected content or HDR mode, and is only useable with an Nvidia RTX 3080 or higher graphics card.
The firm is also launching the Odyssey OLED G8, a 4K monitor with a 166ppi display and a 240Hz refresh rate.
The Odyssey G9 is a dual QHD monitor with a 144Hz refresh rate.
Finally, the ViewFinity S8 is a 37” 4K HDR monitor.
Reservations can be made until 8 April, with a $50 credit offered for preorders.
