Apple has announced that this year’s WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference) will be held between 9 and 13 June, with an in-person element at its Cupertino campus.
The focus of the conference will be on upcoming software releases, including iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS, with speculation that there will be a substantial visual redesign.
There is also potential for new hardware launches, following announcements at previous WWDC events including the Apple Vision Pro, M2 chip, and new Mac devices in 2023.
It is possible that there will be an update on the company’s AI and Siri features, after delays to the rollout of Apple Intelligence were announced earlier in the year, along with a restructure of the team running the project.
Elsewhere, rumours point towards the announcement of a refreshed Mac Pro and second-generation AirTags, both of which are planned for release in 2025.
