PS5 owners really want to play Xbox games, as Microsoft tops Sony’s preorder charts

Microsoft’s gaming titles are proving popular with PlayStation 5 users, with Forza Horizon 5 and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle the most pre-ordered titles in the PlayStation Store, both of which will be available from April.
The popularity of Microsoft’s games on the PlayStation platform is indicative of the software giant’s ‘Xbox everywhere’ strategy, which has seen it make many of its most popular titles available across a number of different consoles.
Microsoft owned Bethesda recently announced that its premium version of Indiana Jones will provide two days of early access on PS5, available from 15 April, with Forza Horizon 5 arriving on 29 April.
Xbox games Sea of Thieves and Hi-Fi Rush also proved popular on PS5, with the former topping the downloads list in the US, Canada and EU for Sony for six months following its debut in April last year.
