Gaming company Xbox has announced a series of updates for its platforms, including a redesigned user interface (UI) for its Game Bar on PCs, a new Cloud Gaming feature and extended in-game benefits for free-to-play titles.
The UI changes are aimed at creating a lighter, more cohesive look and moving away from the busy interface of Adobe products.
The new Cloud Gaming feature lets gamers shift between games without having to return to the home page, initially available on selected Assassin’s Creed titles with wider implementation coming later.
In-game benefits such as additional characters and cosmetics are being extended to titles such as Heroes in the Storm and Call of Duty: Warzone.
The company also announced plans to expand its Xbox Game Pass service to more markets later in the year.
