Summary
Android Auto now has partial gaming support in selected cars, with four titles initially playable on car touchscreens, provided the vehicle is parked.
The games, which include Candy Crush, Angry Birds, Farm Heroes and Beach Buggy Racing, can be accessed on the car’s display when the titles are downloaded onto an Android phone.
The new addition brings fullscreen apps to Android Auto for the first time, but it is not clear if the feature will be rolled out to other app types.
Gaming support in Android Auto was announced by Google earlier this month as part of its March feature drop, but the company has not yet indicated when the feature will exit beta.
Android Auto games were first introduced in 2021 through Google’s GameSnacks service.
