Budget wireless operator Visible, owned by Verizon, has launched a new premium plan which undercuts its parent’s offering.
The Visible Plus Pro plan costs $45 per month and includes unlimited 5G Ultrawideband data, without throttling, and unlimited hotspot usage of up to 15 Mbps.
The plan also allows subscribers 4K video streaming and service for one cellular smartwatch, all of which are not available on Verizon’s $65 entry-level unlimited plan.
Visible traffic runs over Verizon’s network and there are concerns that it may be placed on a lower service tier than Verizon’s own postpaid customers, although Visible’s premium plan has been assigned a higher-priority QCI than Verizon’s Unlimited Welcome, according to Android Authority.
